"Baby Food Taste Test" Game
The object of this baby shower game is to have each
guest taste unidentified baby food and then guess
what each flavor is. The guest who guesses the
most correctly wins.
• 6 to 12 different varieties of baby food (no blends)
• 1 small spoon per baby food jar for dishing out the samples
• 1 large paper plate per guest (always have extra plates
just in case someone doesn't RSVP but shows up)
• 1 small spoon per guest for tasting the baby food
• 1 pen or pencil per guest
1. After you've purchased the baby food, take the label off each jar and
number them in sequential order.
2. Be sure to keep track on a separate, hidden piece of paper what each jar
is.
3. Draw 1 inch circles for each jar of baby food on each of the paper plates.
4. Number the circles according to each jar
1. Give each guest one paper plate, 1 small spoon and 1 pen or pencil
2. Have each guest take a small scoop of baby food and put it in the corresponding
circle on their paper plate.
3. Once they have all of the baby food on their plate, have them taste each
flavor, guess what flavor it is and write their answer under the small circle.
5. Once everyone is finished, read off the answers and the person who guessed
the most correctly wins! This is a really fun and easy baby shower game.
1. You may want to keep in mind your guests' diets. If someone is a vegetarian
you might not want to buy a meat-based jar.
2. Some people choose to have the guests come up one at a time to be blindfolded
and hand fed. This makes the baby shower game more challenging because the
color won't give the flavors away!
