"Name Game" For Baby Showers

Object of the Baby Shower Game

The object of the baby shower game is to have the
guests find as many words as possible within the
baby's full name. The person with the most words
wins.

Supplies Needed

• 1 piece of paper per guest with the baby's full
name written on the top
• 1 pen or pencil per guest
• Enough books or clipboards for the guests to write on

Game Prep

Write the baby's full name on the top of a piece of paper. Make enough copies for each guest (with a few extra just in case).

At the Baby Shower

1. Hand out the paper and pens to each guest
2. Give the guests 3-4 minutes to find as many words as possible using only the letters in the baby's name.
3. The guest with the most words when time's up wins.
4. Have the winner read her list for fun — and to check and make sure they're all real words!
