"Avoid 'B' Word" Shower Game

Object of the Baby Shower Game

The object of the baby shower game is to have the
guests collect as many pacifier necklaces, clothes-
pins or diaper pins as possible by taking them from
anyone who's caught saying "baby". The guest with
the most at the end of the shower wins.

Supplies Needed

• 1 pacifier necklace, clothespin or diaper pin per
guest (or anything else that matches your theme and is easy to transfer from person to person)

Game Prep

Place the pacifier necklaces, clothespins or diaper pins near the front door so they will be easily accessible when your guests arrive.

At the Baby Shower

1. Give each guest a pacifier necklace when she arrives and explain that she cannot say the word "baby" because if another guest hears it she'll take away the necklace (or all of the necklaces the guest has collected).
2. At the end of the shower, find the guest who has collected the most necklaces and award her a prize.

Additional Baby Shower Game Ideas and Tips

This game is easy to customize. You can use any word that the guests will be likely to say frequently, such as "mom". If everyone knows the baby's gender, "boy", or "girl" might be a good word to use!

You can also customize the baby shower game by substituting items that fit your theme. For example, if you're having a luau, use leis.
